Arnold Rutkowski

Arnold Rutkowski is a tenor who is conquering the world’s opera stages with his extraordinary voice and talent. Born in Łódź, the artist began his musical journey at the Academy of Music, and went on to delight audiences on the stage of the Wrocław Opera and the most important opera stages in the world.

His vocal artistry has been recognized with many prestigious awards, including prizes in the Operalia, Klassikmania, Ada Sari, and the European Jan Kiepura Tenor Competition. Winner of the Jan Kiepura Theatre Music Award in the “Best Singer” category (2008), he has shared the stage with such stars as Placido Domingo.

From London’s Royal Opera House, through the Opéra Garnier in Paris, to the Teatro Comunale Bologna – Arnold Rutkowski’s voice has resounded in the most famous concert halls across the globe. His repertoire includes unforgettable performances in operas by Verdi, Bellini, Puccini, and Bizet, in roles such as the title role in “Il Trovatore”, Don Carlo, Riccardo in “Un ballo in maschera”, Pollione in “Norma”, Cavaradossi in “Tosca”, and Don Jose in “Carmen”.

A versatile artist who is not afraid of challenges, he has also performed in front of an audience of three hundred thousand at the Przystanek Woodstock festival, alongside maestro Wiesław Ochman.

Arnold Rutkowski is a true ambassador of Polish vocal art in the world, whose talent and charisma inspire future generations of young opera singers.
