Claudio Capretti

Claudio Capretti – studied piano at the “Girolamo Frescobaldi” Conservatory in Ferrara, in the class of prof. Enrico Stellini and Andrea Lucchesini at the Fiesole Music Academy and Umberto Finazzi at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan.

From 2017 to 2019 he studied as deputy conducting at the Accademia del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, an academy where he then worked as a lecturer for reading scores and accompaniment from 2019 to 2020.

Claudio Capretti took part in the production of Janacek’s opera The Cunning Fox at the Mezzano Romantica Festival (2014 – directed by David Jackson), Everyone Calls Me (reduction of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville) at the Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino – Florence Opera (2018 – conductor Giuseppe La Malfa), “The Barber of Seville” by Rossini and “La bohème” by Puccini in the theater “Music Hall” in St. Petersburg (2019 – conductor Fabio Mastrangelo), “The Straw Hat von Florenz” by Rota at the Ente Concerti Marialisa de Carolis in Sassari (2019 – conductor Federico Santi), “Ciak Bohème” (reduction from “La bohème” by Puccini) at the Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino – Opera di Firenze (2019), Verdi’s Ballo in Maschera at the Teatro Regio in Parma (2021 – directed by Roberto Abbado).

Since 2022 he has been working regularly with the Teatro Sociale di Como As.Li.Co as répétiteur and production manager.
