There is no self-respecting opera house that does not have in its repertoire the works of W.A. Mozart – there will also be no shortage of them during our concerts – you will hear arias from the operas “The Magic Flute”, “Cosi fan tutte” and “The Marriage of Figaro”.
Belcanto (beautiful singing) is a style in Italian music that originated in the Baroque period, perfected in the 19th century, the aim of which was to show the beauty of the human voice and vocal virtuosity. Gioachino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini and Giuseppe Verdi or Giacomo Puccini are the undeniable masters of this style. We will hear fragments of their compositions from such operas as “The Barber of Seville”, “Tosca”, “Rigoletto”, “La Traviata” and others.
Do you know anyone who has not heard of “Carmen” by G. Bizet? – the program of our concerts should also include “Habanera” and “Toreador”.
